Vanquish Pheonix RTR – Straight Axle

The almighty Vanquish has just release their first ready to run rock crawler based off their legendary Pheonix kit.

We did a review on the truck, and can be seen below:

We also did a stock head to head with a Traxxas TRX4 Sport

Update – 5-2-23 – Added this body and removed the stock Phoenix body

This brings us to the next evolution of the truck; and that is to make it compete with an Axial SCX10 Pro at the same price point.

In order to do this we have updated the truck; and fitted it with the following goodies from Rock Pirates RC:

Total after taxes and shipping $164.50

In order to make these parts work with the truck I had to make a few different 3d printed parts outlined in the following video (coming soon). You can find these parts on thingiverse here.

Are these parts going to be perfect? Probably not 100 percent, and a lot of that will be dictated by your filament, and nozzle size. I’m using PETG, and a .8mm nozzle.
